DIY Sensory Bin – Fine Motor Skills

The boys had a blast with the sensory bin, playing for over an hour. Cleanup was more than expected, but totally worth it! It included Dollar Tree finds like pipe cleaners, “crystals,” and more, plus household items like Cheerios. Their favorites were the pipe cleaners and scooping “rocks.”

The boys LOVED this sensory bin and played for over an hour with it. However, the cleanup was a bit more than I had anticipated! So worth it though!

  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Blue “crystals”
  • Green “pebbles”
  • Plastic eyeballs
  • Plastic funnels
  • Big plastic spoon and spork
  • Plastic shot glass size cups

Other items from around the house:

  • Small plastic bowls and lids
  • Plastic colander
  • Cheerios
